YOUTH

The young are the springtime in the Church's cycle of life. Making most of the spring is one of the secrets of the harvest. This is precisely what many dedicated parishioners are doing in the hours so generously given in the service of the young.

Children's Liturgy: Catechists help children with the Liturgy of the Word at 11.00 am Mass on Sundays.  If you wish to assist Telephone 0113 250 5780

Youth Club: Those aged between 11 and 15 years enjoy themselves in the Parish Centre on Fridays from 7.30 – 9.00 pm.  Telephone 01943 878464

Music Group: This enterprising band of young musicians and singers lead the congregation at Mass at regular intervals.  Leader: Graham Hall

Scouts: Meet in the Scout Building on Fridays from 7.00 pm – 8.45 pm

Guides: Gather in the school hall on Wednesdays from 7.15 – 9.00 pm

Cubs: Meet on Thursdays from 6.30 -8.00 pm in the Scout Building 

Meet on Fridays from 6.30 – 8.00 pm  in the school hall

Rainbows: Gather in the school hall on Mondays from 6.00 – 7.00 pm

Beavers:  Meet in the Scout Building on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6.30 pm – 7.30 pm

Catholic Youth Service- On behalf of the Bishop's of England and Wales the CYS support the catholic youth ministry community.

Xt3 - Since its launch in 2004 Xt3.com has built an online global youth community promoting gospel values. Its relaunch in 2008 as the official social networking site for WYD Sydney 2008 and beyond will connect you to a Faith based community, bringing the Gospel of Christ into the Third Millennium. 

Faith Movement - A group of priests, religious and lay Catholics drawn together by a shared vision of Christ.

Sion Community - Lots of stuff going on for young people including mission team, leadership training and youth programme for gap year students.

Youth 2000 - is an independent, international initiative that helps young adults aged 16-35 plug back into God at the heart of the Roman Catholic Church.

Youth Cafe- 6 sessions based around DVDs. Explore your faith....ask questions....have fun!

Young Catholic Workers - an organisation which links groups of young people/young adults together through friendship, formation and action.

Youth SVP - Youth SVP is a voluntary Christian organisation. When you join a Youth SVP group, you volunteer to offer one-to-one help and support to people in need in the local community.
